Viltrox Announces EF-R3 0.71x Speed Booster

In addition to their basic EF-RF lens adapter as well as their control ring version (model EF-R2), Viltrox has announced their new 0.71x Speed Booster; EF-R3. This is geared towards filmmakers who want to eliminate the 4K crop factor so that it is as close as possible to its actual focal length.

The Viltrox EF-R3 Mount Adapter allows Canon EF mount lens series to pair with Canon RF mount cinema cameras especially for Canon EOS C70/Red Komodo models. The adapter offers a 0.71x focal reducer, supports full dual-pixel, IS lens stabilization and electronic aperture control. It also enables EXIF info transmission and provides a USB port for firmware upgrade.
